Stripping Painted Pavers In South Florida

This account had beautiful pavers PAINTED RED. Not quite sure how or why, but this was a travesty. This was a delicate area with an abundance of foliage. Therefore sand blasting was not an option. A simple pressure washer would not have the velocity to remove this paint. In addition, the amount of water that would be needed would flood the area and make it impossible to continue.

National Sealing had a very effective solution; we would remove / strip the existing paint with a customized process that utilizes concentrated water pressure up to 40,000 PSI. This process also has a vacuum recovery system. Basically, the same effect that sand blasting would have – with water. This leads to less mess, a quieter and faster operation.

After the painted surface was removed, we then sealed the pavers. This resulted in the very beautiful pavers being exposed and protected.

We used National Sealing about 4 years ago to reduce the slippery nature of the Travertine around our pool deck and inside our outdoor Cabana. It worked great and no one slipped after the material was applied. End of June thru July 5th our grandkids were going to stay with us so we decided to reapply to ensure no accidents. Again, the product worked perfectly and the 8 and 5 year olds ran around with no slipping.

Mark was our technician and he was on time and did a fantastic job. We had the nano beads covering and it was a game changer. our concrete is no longer slippery when wet and the feel of the beads under bare feet isn't rough to walk on barefoot. The results look great, the sealer makes our travertine tile look fantastic! Ken did a fantastic job explaining the products they offer to include the five warranty on their proprietary sealing products. We selected their top of line no slip sealer for our new pool deck. After we scheduled are appointment, Ashton came to clean the deck followed by Mark the next day to apply the sealer. Mark took his time to explain the process and reiterated their warranty on the product should anything happen. The sealer gave our new pool decking a beautiful sheen. It does take 24 to 48 hours for the product to properly cure. So, be patient. We’re super happy with the results!

Glad I found them as I was tempted to seal our travertine pool decking myself and it most likely would have been a disaster. Will see how this coating hold up but with the Nano-Bead nonslip coating, Kenny anticipated 4-5 years even in our Houston heat. Pleasure to do business with.

The product they coated my travertine pavers which made them pop like a million bucks! The installer, Martell, was extremely polite and did an absolutely splendid job and protected areas before applying the coating. We have not yet tested the non-slip coating after getting out of the pool, but it's very similar to a medium-grit sandpaper so I have no doubt that it will not be slippery at all. I cannot recommend this company any more highly; I would give them 6 stars if Google would let me. Thanks to Kenny for answering my plethora of emails to calm any fears I may have about their process and their product.

We used National Sealing recently to seal our Turkish shell stone pool deck, which had become very slippery when wet (dangerous for everyone, especially young kids). We opted for their proprietary non-slip bead application, which ended up being the right choice. The product was applied in a matter of hours, dried by the evening, and we were back to using our pool the next day. It did not change the appearance of the stone in any noticeable way, and has the perfect amount of grip without being too rough on the feet. Looking forward to the expected 4-5 year life as well. Kenny in the office and the applicator team were all responsive and professional/knowledgable. Would recommend them to anyone having slippery surface issues on their pool decks.
