Sealing Travertine, Sealing Marble, Sealing Limestone Pavers
National Sealing is the Largest Paver Sealing Co. in the US. We mobilize throughout the US, sealing all types of Natural Stone including Travertine Pavers, Marble Decks, Sealing Limestone, Sealing Stamped Concrete. We offer various solutions for Travertine Sealing, Limestone Sealing, Marble Deck Sealing, Sealing Cement Decks for both commercial and residential applications.
Priced as if local. For 20 + years, we’ll combine multiple applications in a particular area so that you’ll have pricing as if you’re 5 miles away!
There are many options when Sealing Travertine, Sealing Marble, Sealing Limestone Pavers. We are happy to perform either one, so we are not biased, although you will see there tends to be a more logical approach – probably 90% of the applications utilize our Fourth Option; Our proprietary 3 – Part Coating + Nano Non Slip Beads.
Option 1: Penetrating / Impregnating Sealer
The most basic form of Sealing Travertine / Sealing Marble / Sealing Limestone is with a Penetrating Sealer or Impregnating Sealer. Although the Travertine is technically sealed, the surface of the stone is still exposed. The surface will still be susceptible to staining, good chance that it will be slick, and more importantly exposed to certain fading. Where you really start to see the effects of fading when there is a protected / shaded area i.e. patio. In as little as 2 years there will be a very distinct line between the shaded area and the larger exposed area of the Travertine. We often hear of pool installation companies offering the Penetrating Sealer/Impregnating Sealer approach. Applying a Penetrating Sealer to exterior Travertine can be a fatal mistake. Once it’s faded due to the surface not being protected you can’t turn back the clock. For salt water pools especially, added surface protection is needed to protect the stone from chemical degradation.
Option 2: Sealing Travertine, Sealing Marble, Sealing Limestone Pavers Sealing Surface with Standard (Topical) Sealer plus adding basic ‘Shark-Type Product’ for non slip
Topical protection (Sealer) builds a barrier between the sun and the stone to help limit Fading and Staining. That’s the good news. The bad news is; Any application of topical protection will make the surface slick. The surface protection now needs some type of non slip component. This is why a lot of applicators do not want to apply Topical Protection – you have to be versed in applying non slip. We offer this service only to compare to every other quote in the US – using a common ‘SEALER’ with a common Shark Product.
This is where it gets complicated. Again, we’re the Largest Paver Sealing Co in the US, so we can of course take this approach. However, when providing a Non Slip Solution – we typically DO NOT. We field a dozen calls per day from people that have tried using a common Sealer + Shark products to create a Non Slip Profile. We started out 20 years ago with this as well, so we speak from experience. Since we do so many commercial applications, we found out pretty quickly that the particles in Play Sand or the Shark products work on a very temporary basis. These particles are very soft, very brittle, very light to begin with. Then you are forced into annual re-application and begin layering Sealer year after year. With this, you risk the Sealer failing and costly removal. We can certainly perform the Topical Sealer + non slip additive, but there is a reason we mobilize across the US.
Option 3: NS-100 Sealer combined with our more durable Nano Non Slip Beads
Since we’ve established using play sand and/or the Shark-type approach is temporary, we can add our more durable Nano Non Slip beads. This is a monumental improvement over just the typical Shark-type approach, however, it’s still ‘SEALER’.
Option 4: NS-201 3-Part Coating + Nano Non Slip Beads
The last option is the most Durable Application in the US for Sealing Travertine, Sealing Marble Decks, Sealing Limestone Pavers as THIS IS NOT ‘SEALER’. We’ve created a Durable 3-part ‘COATING’. When combined with our proprietary Nano Non Slip Beads, creates an unmatched barrier and 3-5x More Durable than using a common Sealer application.
- Coating enhances unsealed stone & pavers more than Sealer
- Coating is 3 – 5x More Durable than Sealers
- Durable Nano Beads; Most Durable Non Slip in US
- Topical Treatment – Prevents Fading, Staining, Degradation of Stone
- More Resistant to Salts, and harsh chemicals
- Coating can be re-applied. Less risk of ‘sealers’ failing, stripping in future
- Sealers – costly annual re-application

I am very pleased with the quick response by Kenny to my inquiry and more impressed with his ability to juggle work load to get my job on the schedule. Mark expertly installed the coating on my travertine pool deck in a race before rain. Thank you!

We recently had our travertine pool deck coated with the anti slip coating as well as our brick paver driveway sealed. We were amazed at how well they both looked. We were a little skeptical at first of the anti slip for the pool deck, but it is as good as Kenny promised and has the constant wet look which we desired. National Sealing team was truly professional and will be recommending them to everyone.

I had an excellent experience with Kenny and Mark. They are very professional and took care of my slippery Travertine tile. I had a pool party and 3 people actually slipped and hurt themselves. After this application the tile is no longer slippery. Thanks guys
